Common questions
How long do I have to file?
For most personal injury claims in California, 2 years from the date of injury. Claims against a city, county, or state agency usually require a government claim within 6 months. Deadlines are strict, so don't wait.
Should I talk to the other driver's insurance company?
Be careful. Recorded statements and early settlement offers can reduce what you receive. Talk to me first.
The other driver had no insurance. Now what?
Your own uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage may apply. I'll review your policy and explain your options.
Will my case go to court?
Most personal injury cases settle without a trial. Preparing a case as if it could go to court is what gets insurers to take it seriously.
Let's talk about what happened.
